WoM – Christmas Edition: Christmas Cosmo
Ho! Ho! Ho! I’m on vacation during the Holidays. Surely I have time to mix and drink. Let’s the Week of Mixology – Christmas Edition start!
Now that I have the blog running, I will do one post per drink. Then at the end of the week I will post a summary like I did for Week 1 and the Champagne.
Let’s get started. The Sunday drink is the Christmas Cosmo.
Christmas Cosmo
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 1/2 oz cranberry juice
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- 1 oz vodka
- Place all the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. You can also float a few frozen cranberries on the top of this after pouring it into the glass.

For those who like strong drinks, yet my mom and aunt, not big drinkers really like this drink, go figure. Although there isn’t that much of it, to me the vodka overpowers the other ingredients. Maybe if I reduced the lime a bit, no sure. This is just a slight touch of sweetness. The color is girly pink.
