WoM – Christmas Edition: Angel’s Delight
We are going creamy tonight. Cream, gin, triple sec and grenadine. Sounds a bit odd but I won’t know for sure until I try it.
The Thursday drink is an Angel’s Delight.
Angel’s Delight
- 1 oz. cream
- 3/4 oz. triple sec
- 3/4 oz. gin
- 2-3 dashes grenadine
- Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

It’s good, though I have no idea how to describe it. So let’s do the basics: it’s pastel pink, it’s sweet, it’s creamy, and it tastes like gin. Not very surprising given the ingredients… I used 10% cream and Bombay Sapphire for the gin. Since the taste of the gin is definitely prominent, I strongly recommend a good gin. I used two dashes of grenadine, but then again I have no clue what a dash si supposed to be. The orange taste from the triple sec is subtile and meshes well with the gin.
