Nothing in the name says “Christmas” or “Tropical” but the ingredients and look qualifies it as a cocktail for New Year Eve’s in the tropics. The Mary Pickford is a Cuban Prohibition-era classic. There are many variations when it comes to the relative quantities of the four ingredients. I picked one, let’s try it.

The Christmas Blue Hawaiian is on deck tonight. It is a variation on the Blue Hawaiian. I guess the peppermint schnapps is the “Christmas” element, reminiscent of candy cane.
